The &Audi Initiative has recently published the 2021 “SocAIty” study. “SocAIty” saw nineteen leading experts from around the globe interviewed on core issues in the field of autonomous driving. This study addresses three focal points: current legal questions concerning autonomous driving, the ethical dimension and relevant data protection and security aspects.

What are possible answers to the moral dilemmas of autonomous driving and how can we alleviate fears and win trust in technology? Prof. Dr. Christoph Lütge, Chair of Business Ethics and Director of the Institute for Ethics in Artificial Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich, was one of the experts that had the opportunity to draw a picture of the future of mobility in the year 2030 and express his views and vision on the present and future of autonomous driving.
